In 2018, a quarter of the French were monument enthusiasts, with at least three visits during the year. This survey focuses on the usual places to visit the monuments of these culture lovers.

Majority of French people said they visited monuments both in their region and when traveling. Moreover, 40 percent of monument lovers mentioned visiting monuments outside their region. To a lesser extent, one in five respondents were usually visiting regional monuments.
