We observe that one out of two respondents residing in the Paris area visited a museum or an exhibition during the year. In cities with over 100,000 inhabitants, there were 43 percent of French people to attend these cultural sites, while 29 percent of inhabitants of rural communes had visited a museum or a temporary exhibition.
