Where did the French visit museums or temporary exhibitions this year? This survey highlights the usual places to visit museums and temporary exhibitions, among French casual visitors in 2018.

Almost a third of casual visitors reported having visited museums and exhibitions in their area. Similarly, one-third of occasional visitors visited museums while traveling.

One in five French people visited museums both in their region and during their travels or trips. Casual visitors, namely those having one or two visits in the year, represented 22 percent of those surveyed in 2018.
