Do the French visit more museums and exhibitions based on their income? According to this survey, income had an impact on the frequency of visits to these cultural venues in 2018.
We observe that more than one visitor out of two had a high income during the year. Museums also recorded 28 percent of visitors with low incomes and 31 to 37 percent of visitors from the middle classes.
In 2018, 61 percent of the French had not visited museums or temporary exhibitions.
