2022: % of English who believed Queen Elizabeth II was a good queen
In this survey, the source asked respondents the following question: "Regardless of your opinion on the monarchy as a whole, do you think the Queen did a good or bad job during her reign?" An overwhelming majority of Britons said she did a good job and was a good queen. Only 6 percent believed she had not been a good queen.
After 70 years of reign, Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022. The throne then passed to her son, King Charles III, formerly Prince Charles. In 2022, 35 percent of Britons said they did not know whether he would be a good king or not.
