In 2023, the European commission launched the Digital Decade Policy Program, a plan aimed to support the EU's digital transformation by 2030. The Commission regularly monitors the achievement of KPIs in four key areas: digital infrastructure, digital transformation of businesses, digital skills, and digital public services. As far as digital skills, the KPI with the largest target achievement is to have 80 percent of individuals with basic digital skills, with a target completion of ** percent. The second KPI, having 20 million employed ICT specialists, was achieved at ** percent. Â
