A recent survey conducted in the United States found that TikTok is more popular among younger adults for news consumption. Among respondents under the age of 30, 39 percent said they regularly get news from TikTok, while 37 percent reported regularly getting news from news influencers鈥攃ompared with just seven percent of Americans aged 65 and older. In contrast, adults aged 30 to 49 seem to be more inclined to rely on news influencers, as 26 percent of respondents in this demographic reported that they obtain their news from these sources.
