A survey conducted in the United States in March 2024 found that around a quarter of those 45 years and older did not trust AI's ability to provide accurate information. Less skeptical were younger adults, aged between 18 and 29. Roughly 40 percent of adults in this age group expressed a fair amount of trust in AI's capability of providing accurate information.
