The “EcoMark” was the best known sustainable certification in Japan according to a survey conducted in October 2024. While **** percent of respondents knew the mark and its meaning, another **** percent recognized the Japanese label certifying products that were produced and can be disposed of with a low impact on the environment. The Japanese certification for organic products “Organic JAS” was the second most recognized label related to sustainability.
