When asked to express their attitude to the statement "Foods whose advertising is intended to appeal to children should be only allowed to contain a limited amount of sugar, fat, or salt," 92 percent of respondents with children under 18 in their households in Germany agreed, with 70 percent agreeing entirely and 22 percent agreeing to a certain extent. The same share among the respondents with no children stood at 84 percent overall, with 64 percent agreeing completely and 20 percent agreeing partially.
