According to a survey conducted in the second quarter of 2025, more than 61 percent of internet users in Sweden used social media to keep in touch with friends and family, while 40.1percent used social networks to fill their spare time. Overall, around one third of users in Sweden found inspiration for things to do and buy on social media, and one in four users found content on social platforms.
