According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, around **** percent of responding video game developers and publishers stated that they planned to implement virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) technologies in their games. This was the most common web 3.0 technology being planned for video games, followed by artificial intelligence (AI) at **** percent and metaverse at **** percent. Overall however, the majority of companies, at about **** percent, were currently not planning on introducing any such technologies.
