A study from 2020 on consumer perception of brand's reaction to social issues in the United States, found that ** percent of respondents would forgive a company for at least trying to help by speaking out on social issues, even if the company did not get it right. At the same time, ** percent of respondents said, that when companies speak out on social issues, it shows that they are aware of what is happening in the world.
