According to a survey on the status of truck drivers in India, the quality of family life was stated to be most unattractive in Ahmedabad by ** percent of respondents in 2020. The long working hours and untimely work shifts restrained the drivers from spending time with family and socializing making it a rather unpleasant working condition. However, a higher proportion of truck drivers from the southern cities of Vijayawada, Chennai and Bangalore found their profession to be attractive in terms of family life.
