A majority of truck drivers in India stated that their quality of life had deteriorated in the past decade according to a survey on the status of truck drivers in February 2020. Over ** percent of truck drivers from the states of Mumbai and Ahmedabad stated that their quality of life had deteriorated in the last ten years. The life of truck drivers in Chennai, Kanpur and Kolkata seemed to have improved significantly in the previous years than those from Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi.
