Advertising in Peru – statistics & facts
The Peruvian advertising and marketing sector has a recipe for expansion: digital channels. In 2024, the overall ad spending growth rate in Peru accelerated, but online media boosted the increase. The digital ad expenditure rose by an estimated 12.6 percent, almost twice as much as traditional media. Additionally, there is still even more room for growth, as TV remained Peru's leading ad medium historically. The only other traditional ad channel experiencing consistent expansion since the pandemic has been out-of-home (OOH) advertising, albeit including digital OOH displays (DOOH), and still at an investment level lower than in 2019.
