In 2025, Omni Hotels and Resorts was rated the best upper upscale hotel brand in North America. The company’s score was *** out of 1,000. Hard Rock Hotels, meanwhile, placed second in the ranking. Other high-ranking brands included Margaritaville Hotels & Hotels and Le Meridien. 

Hotel brand segments

Brands within the various hotel brand segments are rated using a customer satisfaction index score. Within the upscale hotel brand segment, Drury Hotels and Best Western Premier were among the highest-rated brands in North America as of May 2025. Some of the highest rated budget hotel brands in North America were Microtel Inn & Suites, and Days Inn by Wyndham. Both had a guest satisfaction score of **points out of 1,000, respectively. 

Wyndham hotels

Many of the highest-rated budget hotel brands, such as Travelodge, Days Inn, and Microtel Inns & Suites, are Wyndham brands. Wyndham Hotel Group, with its headquarters in New Jersey, has properties in over eighty countries. The majority of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts according to region were located in the United States and the Asia Pacific region in 2024.
