Tiny accounts: between 0 and 2,000 followers. Small accounts: between 2,000 and 10,000 followers. Medium accounts: between 10,000 and 100,000 followers. Big accounts: between 100,000 and one million followers. Huge accounts: over one million followers.

In 2026, tagging works best for smaller TikTok accounts. When Tiny accounts, with followers up to 2,000, mention someone in their caption, their reach increases by ***percent, comments jump by roughly ** percent, and shares rise by around ** percent. Meanwhile, huge accounts with over one million followers do not see growth in post performance when including a mention in their caption.
