In this way, the Asian country positioned itself at the top of the global spending intention ranking. The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia ranked second and third, respectively. The first European country to appear in the ranking was the United Kingdom, which, with a per-person spending of 254 U.S. dollars, was in fifth place. Spain, for its part, ranked tenth.
