According to the results of a survey held in late 2024 in the United States, just ** percent of responding adults felt very confident that they could spot a news story written by AI versus content written by a human. Women were overall less confident in their ability to recognize AI-written news than their male peers, with nearly saying they were not very confident or not at all confident in this respect, compared to just over **** of male respondents.
