In 2024, roughly half of adults surveyed in the United States who were aged between 50 and 64 reported sleeping six hours or less per night, compared to 34 percent of those aged 18 to 29. Meanwhile, 31 percent of adults below the age of 29 reported sleeping eight hours or more, compared to 20 percent of those aged 30 to 49.
