According to an analysis, the vast majority of American SVOD customers paid the full price for the respective services in early 2024, with over half of sign-ups not coming from promotional prices or free trials. In contrast, in the third quarter of 2022, significantly more sign-ups to SVOD platforms were generated through promotional prices.
