In the United States, Netflix saw the percentage of accounts shared with relatives drop from 36 percent in 2022 to 28 percent in 2023, following the implementation of password-sharing restrictions in May 2023. Disney+ experienced a slight decrease of password-sharing subscribers of two percentage points during the same period. Amazon Prime Video had the lowest account-sharing rate among these three platforms.
