In the French legislative elections of 2024, the large level of polarization between three main groups (New Popular Front, presidential majority, and National Rally), but also the high participation and the low number of candidates, meant that, due to France's electoral system, there were an unprecedented number of three-way races in the second round of voting (and even two four-way races). Among the ** triangulars and quadrangulars, the left-wing coalition of the New Popular Front won ** seats, when the presidential majority's party won **.
