During a survey in April 2023, a combined total of ** percent of survey respondents in the ** to ** age group knew a vegetarian. Over ten percent identified themselves, ** percent knew of a vegetarian family member, and ** percent had a vegetarian friend. Close to half of respondents aged between 45 and 64 did not know of a vegetarian in these three groups.
