According to a survey carried out in July of 2021 in Great Britain, about ** percent of respondents aged 18 to 24 were meat eaters and did not adhere to any restrictions in meat consumption. In the same age group, ** percent of respondents stated that they were flexitarians, meaning that they occasionally added meat to their mostly vegetarian diets. Meat consumption became more common among respondents in older age groups. Flexitarianism is lowest among the youngest, as stricter diets like pescetarianism, vegetarianism and veganism are more common.
