Survey results show that the share of flexitarians, that is those who consciously reduce meat consumption for a variety of reasons, has been *** in Belgium. Whereas ** percent of Belgian consumers identified as flexitarians in 2022, by 2024 the share had ** to ** percent. The number of pescatarians (those eating fish but not meat), on the other hand, around percent over the reported period.
