According to a survey of school students aged 16 years old in Europe in 2019, a third of respondents in Lithuania had tried cigarettes when they were aged 13 years or younger, with *** percent daily smokers at this age. In both Czechia and Latvia, around ** percent of school students reported they had been ** or younger when trying cigarettes for the first time.
