As of July 2023, more than half – 53 percent – of parents and guardians surveyed in Brazil said their children aged nine to 17 asked them to buy a product after accessing an online ad during the 12 months preceding the interviews. According to the same study, little more than one-third of parents in Brazil bought products their children asked for after accessing online ads.
