According to a survey during the third quarter of 2024, Facebook Messenger was the preferred social media for *** percent of internet users in Mexico and *** percent in Colombia. In Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, *** percent of internet users in both countries claimed the messaging solution was their platform of choice. On the other hand, Facebook Messenger had an overall high usage rate across the selected countries, although WhatsApp remained the most used and favorite instant messaging app across all of Latin America.
