A survey conducted in March 2022 found that percent of Japanese companies in the secondary and tertiary sector that were interested in using the metaverse had specific projects underway. While an additional percent had completed the budgeting for their projects, a majority of companies stated that they were not yet considering the utilization of the metaverse.
