Chileans' perceptions on the impact that the Estallido Social of 2019 had on the country changed considerably during the following three years. According to a survey conducted in **, nearly ** percent of respondents claimed that the massive demonstrations and riots that spread from Santiago to the rest of the country and triggered by the high cost of living and extreme social inequality, had had a positive impact on Chile. However, two years later, in **, the same survey showed that only ** percent of respondents still believed so.
