According to a survey conducted in 2024, Republicans were most likely to think that the way that college administrators have responded to pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses has been not harsh enough, with ** percent of Republican respondents sharing this belief. In comparison, only ** percent of Independents and ** percent of Democrats thought that college administrators have not been harsh enough on pro-Palestinian campus protests, which are typically organized by college students with the aim of getting their school to cut ties with companies affiliated with Israel.
