When questioned in September 2021, young people expressed a greater willingness than their elders to adopt unconventional modes of political protest. ** percent said they would be willing to protest to defend their ideas, compared to ** percent of their parents and ** percent of Baby Boomers who said the same. They were also more willing to share a hashtag, compared to just over a quarter of Boomers.
