Respondents to this online survey were consumers who have purchased or leased a vehicle at some time between September 2020 and August 2021. Year of the purchased vehicle must be within the past 5 years.
*2976 recent vehicle buyers were surveyed in total, 1998 of which had bought new cars and 978 had bought used cars. Results of the survey were weighted to be representative of the car-buying population.
