A survey conducted in the United States in March 2022 found that ** percent of online adults were very interested in purchasing apparel for a metaverse avatar. Overall, Black adults were most enthusiastic about the idea, with ** percent reporting to be very interested in purchasing apparel for an avatar, whilst ** percent of Hispanic respondents said they were very interested. Additionally, ** percent of white respondents and ** percent of respondents of other races or ethnicities stated that they were not at all interested in this metaverse activity.
