A survey conducted in the United States in March 2022 found that ** percent of Black adults were very interested in virtually attending a live sporting event in the metaverse, and ** percent were somewhat interested. Of respondents of Hispanic ethnicity, ** percent stated that they were very interested in this kind of online event and ** percent reported being somewhat interested. Additionally, ** percent of white adults said they were not at all interested in virtually attending an online sporting event.
