Many consumers in the United States were once again visiting drug stores, as nearly ** percent of surveyed shoppers had gone to such outlets in April 2021. In August of the year before, less than half of surveyed American shoppers had been to pharmacies physically. Over the course of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of people using both online and offline channels for their pharmaceutical needs had increased.
