According to a survey conducted in 2024 in Japan, the majority of businesses that either engaged or were considering engaging in e-commerce were selling in the domestic and overseas markets. Over ** percent were distributing or planning to distribute their products overseas, the preferred method was through cross-border e-commerce by selling from Japan to international customers.
