First case of a person infected with the novel coronavirus in Peru was reported on March 6, 2020. On March 2, 2020, nearly 335 thousand children (aged three to ten) in urban Peru watched TV. Approximately two weeks and over 100 reported cases later, on March 17, 2020, the number increased to approximately 407 thousand.
