The Average Stream Duration (ASD) is the average duration of any legitimate stream (LS). It is measured dividing the total time of streaming by the number of legitimate streams, excluding the advertising stream. Data were partly previously published by the source.

In December 2024, Italians spent on average half an hour streaming national broadcasting. Live streaming made up the highest duration during this period, with a viewing time of around ** minutes, up from the same period of the previous year. On-demand content had a lower average viewing time of around ** minutes.
