As of January 2020, over three-fourths – 75.3 percent – of households surveyed in Peru agreed that the content on subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) platforms was easy to access and use. About 26.5 percent of interviewees said SVoD services had better content than pay TV. According to a survey carried out later in 2020, more than half of people in Peru had watched videos on SVoD platforms.
