Opinion on automated journalism through AI among Italian consumers 2019
As of 2019, Italian readers were asked what they thought about the possibility of automated journalism made possible by Artificial Intelligence (AI). According to data, 50 percent of the respondents between 65 and 80 years old labelled such a development as 'disturbing', followed by almost 25 percent who asserted they would have low interest in it. By contrast, 17.8 percent of the respondents between 18 and 34 years old stated that such an innovative technology would be very interesting.
