Do the French visit more museums and exhibitions depending on their income? According to this survey, earnings had an impact on the frequency of visits to these cultural sites in 2018.

We can see that more than one out of two visitors had an high income during the year. Museums also recorded 28 percent of visitors with low incomes and 31 to 37 percent of visitors from the middle classes.

In 2018, 61 percent of French people did not visit museums or temporary exhibitions .
