This statistic shows the results of a 2018 survey in which British consumers were asked how long they hold off buying items in the lead up to the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. A total of around ** percent of respondents admitted to waiting to buy items until the sales started. Out of those who hold out, an anticipation time of a few weeks is most common (14 percent). One percent said they were willing to wait a whole year until the release of the next Black Friday deals.
