According to a 2024 survey, the most common credit card usage frequency among Americans was a few times a week, cited by ** percent of respondents overall. Combined with daily users, nearly *** in ten Americans use their credit cards at least once a week. Millennials and Gen Z recorded the highest rates of daily usage at ** percent and ** percent respectively, while Baby Boomers were the most likely to use cards less frequently, with a higher concentration in the a few times a week and a few times a month categories. Infrequent usage of once a year or less was reported by just *** percent of respondents overall.
