*In this study, populism is defined as a certain understanding of politics and democracy, its norms, institutions, and procedures. A distinctive feature is the idea of the "real people" on one side and the "corrupt elite" on the other. Additionally, anti-system, anti-pluralism, and pro-people's sovereignty opinions. According to the authors of the study, all three opinions are supposed to be represented simultaneously to be qualified as populist. Other definitions can be found in the report.
