This statistic shows the percentage of turnout and abstention in the general elections to the Congress of Deputies of Spain in 2011, 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2023. In the elections of April 28, 2019, more than 71 percent of those called to vote exercised their right. This value represents not only an increase of around two percentage points compared to 2016, but it is also the highest turnout figure recorded since 2011. However, in the November elections, the turnout percentage returned to values similar to those of 2016.
