More than **** of the participants in a study conducted by S&P Global Market Intelligence in 2023 believed that the metaverse would eventually replace the current World Wide Web in the medium to long term. However, there were notable differences depending on the generation to which the respondents belonged. The most optimistic about this were the millennials. Specifically, almost ** percent believed this, compared to just ** percent of the baby boomers.
