The source clarifies that only respondents who indicated their organizations were already deploying agentic AI were included. These participants were then asked to assess how capable their organizations have been at achieving various outcomes.
Among banking organizations already deploying agentic AI in 2025, most reported strong capabilities across key operational areas. Over half said they were capable or highly capable in improving fraud detection (** percent) and IT or security risk management (** percent). Capabilities were somewhat lower in customer experience (** percent), cost reduction and efficiency (** percent), and creating new revenue streams or growth (** percent). The results of the survey suggested that early implementations of agentic AI were delivering the greatest impact in risk-related functions, with potential for broader business value as adoption matures.
